Sunol, California [February 2001]

February in Niles Canyon brings out the green (and usually the muck). As another Sunday operation winds down, the crew of the Niles Canyon Railway arrives in Sunol, and makes up the train for the trip home to Brightside.

A returning passenger zips down the trap, across the step box, and down the platform under the watchful eye of Conductor Jack Starr.
	The crew confers briefly before wrapping up the day's operation.
Conductor Starr guides engine 298 into a joint with the Boxcar Bookstore. No doubt, Carol didn't feel a thing.
