Collier, California [December 1999]

Collier (formerly known as Luzon) is the westernmost siding in Franklin Canyon. Both ends of the siding are easily accessed, and it provides excellent sun angles throughout the day.

Late afternoon on a cloudy winter day, BNSF 4545 East holds the main for a meet with a westbound pig hauler.
Headlights extinguished for the meet, the two trains creep along through Collier, across the Highway 4 overpass.
After the departure of BNSF 4545 East, the TOFC train crawls towards the west switch at Collier.
